How we work

NSB Structures

Every project is different, but the way Nicole works stays the same. She gets involved early, asks the right questions, and stays with you from the first conversation through to the final sign-off. No handoffs, no junior engineers picking up your job halfway through — just one experienced Chartered Structural Engineer who knows your project inside out.

Early involvement

The best structural engineering happens before anyone has broken ground. Nicole prefers to get involved at the design stage, working alongside your architect or directly with you to make sure the structural approach is right from the start. Catching problems early saves time, money and stress further down the line.

Clear planning

Structural engineering can feel technical and intimidating if you're not familiar with it. Nicole's approach is to keep things plain and straightforward — explaining what she's found, what it means and what needs to happen next in language that makes sense. You'll always know where your project stands.

Thorough delivery

Every set of calculations Nicole produces is thorough, clearly presented and ready to go — whether that's for a planning application, a building control submission or your builder on site. Nothing leaves her desk until it's right.
